What is the difference between 14kt gold-filled and gold plated?
Gold-filled jewelery by definition is "composed of a solid layer of gold, mechanically bonded to a base metal." It will not tarnish and provides the quality one would expect from solid gold. Gold-plated, on the other hand, will tarnish and can result in discoloration. enewton design is proud to carry gold-filled products, which offer consumers a high-quality, long lasting piece of jewelry. So, go ahead and swim, sweat and shower in our special pieces!
